Glossary
Definitions for the public continuity model. They describe concepts, not customer workflows or product behavior.
- Project
- A bounded body of work with an objective, current basis, and responsible return point.
- Project Truth
- Longcurrent’s name for a project’s current, reviewable basis: what is known, decided, limited, done, and next.
- Source
- Material the work is allowed to consider. It is not current or authoritative by default.
- Evidence
- The part of a source or observation that supports a bounded claim, decision, or action.
- Decision
- A human judgment that changes what the project should do next.
- Boundary
- A limit on evidence, authority, scope, privacy, timing, risk, or action.
- Action
- A proposed or completed move with an explicit state, not permission or proof of success.
- Receipt
- A readable record of what was saved, changed, approved, rejected, or completed.
- Resume State
- The next grounded step, review point, wait condition, hold, or retirement state.
- Reader loop
- Orient, Decide, Act, Record, Resume. It does not imply automation.
- Private alpha
- Limited, evolving access for a bounded audience, not general availability or a paid plan.
